Delayered Core 2 Quad QX6700 Die

One die from a Core 2 Quad QX6700 (a quad core is made from two separate dual core dies). This was an interesting chip because interesting things were visible even in the top metal layer. Usually global power distribution (and sometimes clock distribution) takes up the entire top metal layer, producing a boring result.
This was one of the hardest chips to sand evenly. I think the thinner layers on newer manufacturing technologies (e.g. 65nm) make the crudeness of my sanding more apparent.
